Jack: I think that maybe you took this photo a bit later than May 1958. LEEDS CASTLE arrived at the yard on 5 May 1958, but CALGARY, which is the cargo ship behind arrived only a couple of weeks before, on 19 April. Work on CALGARY’s main deck did not start until July 1959, and it was well into 1960 before it was cut down to the stage as depicted in your photo.
