The alley running between Manor Road and St. Chads Road, Tilbury from the 1960s up to todays date. Not much change except it is all fenced in and pedestrians cannot use it any more.
The alley was behind my house, in the mid fifties we played cricket, rode our bikes and my brother John hid a gun between the fence ( an air pellet gun I presume ) I remember a police detective coming to interview him about it, no action taken. The alley could be entered from Manor road or St Chads road next to the Green grocers also from the waste ground opposite the Coop.

I remember this cut through before it was full of rubbish . It was a quick route to the St.chads Road shops. Nice to have a picture then.
