My relatives managed here in the 1940 they where the Tunnicliffe’s. I heard about the saloon bar. I have a elderly cousin who was in this building when a bomb hit it directly in about 1944, I think. I have found old images, in its bomb state. It wonderful for see a picture of it.

I can remember my mum talking about the basin taven . And then i think it became the top canteen .I can remember going with my dad to diliver there milk.And then it became offices .
