I remember walking over the bridge to school that would be in 1952, it was the only way to get to school from the dwellings.
Whilst in Tilbury recently, I thought I`d have a look at the new hairpin bridge.
I was horrified to find it is only a footbridge.
How on earth can you get over to the dwellings side by car now. What a carve up its Miles either end of Tilbury to get there now.
