  • Does anyone remember my partner Jimmy Carter who was apprenticed in 1956 and worked for The Thames Lighterage Company until 1982. Father Jack Carter.

  • Does anyone remember the Littleboy family who were Thames Watermen for generations? Harry Littleboy – known as Spanker – was the skipper of the General VII. Rob and Mo Littleboy were apprenticed to him in 1946 and 1947.
