Elliot tugs CHALLENGE assisting a freighter into Tilbury. She was built in 1931. She is now a preserved vessel and part of the UK Historical Collection.
Shown between 1969-73 in London Tugs colours. The last steam tug in the fleet stretching back to 1869 when Watkins introduced the first steam driven propeller tug ERA.
